This classic Warehouse body is knitted on an old-fashioned low-gauge knitting machine, said to be "rarer than a loopwheel." Knitted with uneven No. 12 yarn, this fabric creates a unique shading effect known as a shadow border. While the fabric is solid, it has a subtle, horizontally uneven pattern. Instead of a modern, overly sloping neckline, the rib is piping-trimmed, maintaining strength while allowing the neckline to loosen with wear, creating a natural, sloping silhouette.
